Making Multiple 'Best Of' Lists!
Dry Cleaning’s second album released on October 21st 2022 is already making multiple end of year ‘best of’ lists. Stumpwork was recorded by Joe Jones at Rockfield with overdubs recorded by Oliver Baldwin atJ&J. Mixed by John & Ali Chant at Playpen, Bristol.
The Chesterfields’ Guitar In Your Bath EP released in 1986 was John’s first ever production. Thirty-six years later he went back into the studio with the band to mix New Modern Homes, their first new album since 1995’s Flood. The album was produced by Ben Turner at Axe and Trap Studio in Wells. John mixed it at Honorsound, Bristol with Ben engineering.
Released through Memphis Industries on September 16th 2022, Order Of Romance is the second album John has produced for California born Manchester resident Jesca Hoop. Recorded by Oliver Baldwin at J&J , and mixed by John & Ali Chant at Playpen in Bristol. Brass and woodwind arrangements by Jesse Morningstar.
