She, A Chinese

John wrote & recorded the music for Xiaolu Guo’s film ‘She, A Chinese’ at the end of 2008. Before the film’s official release in February 2010 it was shown at a few festivals & attracted quite a bit of interest. Ben Baldwin from Dreamboat Records caught one of these showings, liked the film & the score, and consequently approached John about releasing an original soundtrack album. They both wanted to include the Chinese bands & the ending track by Feist that Xiaolu had used in the movie.
